kitties are so patient, with their little paws crossed waiting for attention, or content to sleep little kitty, won't you be a blue friend of mine? little kitty, won't you feel some of this, at least? So, maybe blue skies are dying and I can't get no release but all along the watchtower, they bring blood and disease.
ha, ha, ha.

 | WHAT IS IT: A set of Dragonball Z 4cm large Dragon Balls being sold on eBay by one of my "recent sellers".
WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS: Judging by the "DBZ" tag, at first glance, I thought it was some sort of DBZ pizza. |

It's a little disconcerting when I come to the conclusion that there's not much to stay awake for. Good health and state of mind have all been reasoned away by a nonsensical desire to be detached from my surroundings. I try to think ahead to the future, reason out what may come along and what would inevitably pull me out of this state of morose passivity, but that's never worked out well for me. The undealt card still lies face-down and it has never done me too badly, though its anonymity does drive me mad at times. though, if I could see everything as if I were on a flat plain, I wouldn't be much better off, now would I?
I'm still thankful for what I have, though I have always wanted more than what was justly visible. I would strive, leaps and bounds beyond the norm, to grasp for just a second what seems so close to us as children, yet eludes us so readily as adults. I refuse to cast away that thin veil that hides us as children, so perhaps I'm destined to bite off more than I can possibly fit in my maw.
Either way, either way, either way.

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me!
My choice. For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
* I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! * What I create will be with you in mind. * It'll be done sometime this year (2009) * You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be something written, some physical thing made, could be anything at all, but I will make it myself. It's entirely my choice what it is. No quibbles, no refunds--because you never paid me in the first place. :p
Most of these things will probably be IRL items, but I won't ask for addresses until later--if I need them at all.
The catch?
You have to repost this meme on your blog. Haw-haw-hawde-haw.

The Obama Action Figure.... now in WHITE! er, "Do It Yourself Obama", that is ...
McCain is available, but not in a bla- ...er, DIY version. I think I shall purchase them both and affix some lightsabers to their hands, taking advantage of the eight points of articulation to make them pose in a fierce struggle to the death.
While Sephiroth stands nearby, watching, pondering...

"I don't sweat," he told volunteers at Sasha Bruce House, a shelter for homeless teens in one of Washington's poorer neighborhoods. "You ever see me sweat?"
Other than the above quote, which makes Obama seem like either a robot or someone in dire need of an aerobics regimen, the speech and combined news articles today haven't hit me too wrong yet. I was a little worried when he mentioned 'the schools fail too many', but I'm hoping he meant it in a stronger educational backing kind of way instead of the intellectually-deadly PASS EVERWUN!!?! LOWER TEH SCOARS! sort of way.
I don't like what I'm hearing about his stand on gun control and gun/ammo taxing, however. I think it would be very hypocritical to boast the Constitution as he did in the inaugural speech, and then inhibit, by taxation or in any way, our right to bear arms and defend ourselves.
Either way, God help him. While my faith in politics is less than nil, and I believe much goes on behind the curtain as far as deciding all elements of sociopolitical concerns,I hope Obama can be at least a fraction of the hero people are making him out to be. Honesty is where you have to start, and the hurdle that seems to trip up all politicians.
We~ shall~ see.

Another essential aspect is the 'replacement jutsu'; this replaces your form with a log, and you appear behind your opponent. However, if you stumble during this time, the enemy will often reissue the combo, and you will be in much pain. However, if you manage to pull off the replacement jutsu, you have prime opportunity to lay the smack down on your opponent without them having a chance to block.
R2/L2 and < or > on the left analog stick will cause you to block, however, if you have no chakra, you will not be able to perform any jutsu.
Update: I finally got Itachi. He is incredible. XD

*shivers* x__o f-f-f-f-f-f-forty nine degrees in Houston. *hoodie fortification* ....where are my socks?!
Josh got Naruto: The Broken Bond for Christmas, and I just got Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Broken Bond has a versus mode, but focuses more on the story mode and its many repetitive battles. While fun in its own way, Storm is by far the prettier game with the more intricate and entertaining fighting system, and the 'story mode' is long enough in itself to be fun.
Josh is superior in Broken Bond's fighting style, having actually beaten the story mode. It's got a lot more tricks to it, for instance, Rasengan can only be performed by twisting your axis sticks and then not letting your super-focused ball of energy slip out of the target area for a certain amount of time while it jiggles all over the place like someone with Parkinson's.
Storm's battle system consists of hitting X to hop around; usually two hops will bring you close enough to attack. Square will throw some shuriken. Triangle will charge your chakra, and at full power, Triangle, Triangle, Circle will unleash your ridiculously powerful ultimate jutsu. Other than that, it's just smashing circle 5--9 times, occasionally hitting triangle to get a chakra hit in. You can launch 'chakra shuriken' with triangle-square, but mashing circle is pretty effective in any situation, as long as you're close enough.
To bring in support characters (you can have two) that perform one strong attack, hit R1/L1. For instance, Neji will drop down and do his spinning lotus attack, Sasuke will launch a fireball, Hinata will rush the opponent with a kunai, etc. If you find yourself in a predicament, hit R1/L1 to simultaneously summon both your support characters, and the opponent will be forced to lay off and back up, lest he get Gamabunta summoned on his head from Jiraiya whilst having to deal with Kakashi's ninja dog onslaught all at once. The only time the computer has been a wench so far is when they pair you against enemies that have strength or defense boosts, and won't let you use your ultimate jutsu -- in which case, you may actually find the need to block.
I am five missions away from getting Itachi. XD~ Weeeaaaasal~

I've had ..something ...for three days. Fever, nausea, hot/cold flashes, stomach pain, barely hold anything down, night sweats (bad), and a bitch of a headache in two spots that feels like two velociraptors are making my head their war zone.
I swear, if the girl at work gave me meningitis, I'll come back to haunt her, swear to gott.
Josh finished Naruto: The Broken Bond while I was laid up on the couch watching him. The game was very entertaining for him, but some parts seem tedious, with endless fetch quests and janky controls (which of course you must use to jump over a battalion of traps set up in the woods for... who knows.)
...I'd write more wit, but I think I'm gonna go lay down now. x.X

No, this news doesn't come from The Onion, but instead the reliable IGN. Thank you to reader Travis who sent in this tip, if only this was a cosplay convention gone awry, it would be the best story I've ever heard.
Two 15 year olds in Germany have been arrested for kidnap and murder, and have publicly used the aliases of 'Sepheroth' and 'Reno' instead of their real names. Once the public figured out that this is straight up Final Fantasy VII devil worshiping, the nation quickly summoned an uproar that not even Gears of War could compete with. Once the media confirmed that the two teenagers actually had Final Fantasy VII installed on their computer, Germany has since began to call the decade old game 'Killerspiele' - which translates to 'killer game' in German. So there you have it Zelda fanboys, not only did Aeris make millions of people weep, but Final Fantasy has even killed people in real life. Final Fantasy > Zelda. Case closed. Forget Bonnie and Clyde, no one fucks with Reno and Sephiroth!
As the guards in MGS would say, "!"
